Little Hummingbird-DT card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

It's the beginning of March and I have no idea where the last two months have gone.
Time just keeps humming along!
Speaking of humming...how delightful is this sweet humming bird image from Mel Jen Designs?
Today I'm sharing the card I created for The Corrosive Challenge Blog where the theme this fortnight  is Animals.
Our sponsor for this challenge is of course, MelJen Designs and the image I've used is
As I was making this card I kept thinking, simple...keep it simple....haha! Maybe this is a simple as it gets. I don't know what happened.
I had just got 4 new die cuts in the mail the morning I made this card and I had to at least use a couple of my new toys.
I used the sizzix mini Rosette  die cut and the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles.
I added some cheesecloth, and sugar candies, rhinestones, a little bit of lace, a doily, wire curls, and some lovely chipboard corner pieces which I painted with Picket Fence Distress Paint.. I got those chipboard pieces from Make It  Crafty last year before Zoe stopped selling them. I'm glad I stocked up on an assortment of chipboard pieces as well as the MIC paper(my favorite) which she also no longer sells right now. Please bring it all back, Zoe!
I also added some mini clay hearts from my stash. I had made them long ago for some dough art ornaments I was making at the time. I always loved making my own embellies.
(by this stage of the card, the idea of simple was out the window)
I added some Shabby Blue Frantage around the image and did some edging with stickles.
The paper is from Prima Art Jouranl.

Stay warm friends...Spring is in a couple more weeks.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
