Angelique Snowflake-DT card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hi lovies!
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our theme this fortnight is Happy Everything!
Our sponsor is Delicious Doodles.
Another Banner, but more elegant!
I love working with Teri's images and I think her art is so awesome!
I'm so sad that she'll be closing down her shop on December 31st of this year.
I've already got quite a list going of all the delicious images I still want to add to my digi collection!
Get yours before it's too late!
I've chosen to work with Angelique Snowflake.
I used the new Bo Bunny Altitude Collection  6x6 papers. These papers are so beautiful! I think I'm going to pick them up in the 12x12 as well.
I used a couple of the Tim Holtz die cuts to add some dimension and interest.
The sentiment,"Baby it's cold outside!" is from a discontinued Stampalicious stamp set.
I sprayed the Prima flower with Primary Elements in Orchid,to match my angel's hair, and then added some Martha Stewart Coarse glitter crystal.(I like the way this glitter sparkles the best)
I also added lots of Crystal Stickles to the wings and hair.
I added a dollar store decorative snowflake, a few foil stickers, Prima crystals, crystal snowflakes and a tuft of feather.
I loved this image and the colors so much that I decided to make three similar cards at once!
Now if I make three cards every time, I'll have a ton of cards made in no time!
I've got to get with the plan!
Thanks for stopping in today!
If you have any kind of holiday project be sure to link up with us at TCCB and you could win 4 DD digis of your choice!

Rockabilly Rebel-DT Card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hello lovies!
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
The theme this fortnight is Girly!
Our sponsor is The Stamping Chef.

I've chosen to work with this wonderful retro image, Rockabilly Rebel.
Funny, Quriky, and Smexy is an accurate description for these digi images!
Once again I've used Bo Bunny's discontinued paper, Enchanted as the background for my lovely retro diva.
I added some extra color with sticker borders, and flags, and tags from a  sticker sheet of Echo Park Happy Days.
I also added some Recollections black bling and some Jolee musical notes, a Tim Holtz skull and cross bones embellie, as well as a retro bird charm.
I thought the hair turned out too dark so I added some highlights with my fine Sharpie pen but I didn't like how that was looking so I covered over the white with my fluorescent FB2.
Fabulous! Now I love it with that touch of blue!
It's always been a dream of mine to travel Route 66 on the Harley.
Maybe one day I'll get my kicks on Route 66!
If you have a girly creations be sure to link up with us at TCCB and you could win 3 digis of your choice.
Thanks for stopping in today!

Fairy Witch-DT card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hello lovies!
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our theme this fortnight is Magic!
Create a project featuring something magical!  Fairies, witches, wizards, dragons, mermaids, or whatever suits your fantasy!
We have two wonderful sponsors for this challenge:

It was my pleasure to work with Nikki's Fairy Witch-Rowenia
I love this digi! I especially love the pet dragon, and to be able to work with an image that has both dragon wings and fairy things within it is pretty magical!
I colored this up with some wonderful Copic Halloween hues and fussy cut it out.
I painted the panel with my Sennelier water colors, then stamped and embossed the background with a star dust stamp and some Aegean Sea ep.
It's very sparkly and looks super magical!
Somehow, I taped the panel down a little crooked and there was no way I could remove it.
Well I could have used some Un-du but aint nobody got time for that, so I decided my best option was to camouflage it with a splattering of vintage stickers magical silver glitter spheres, and some Tim Holtz tinsel.
Ta-da! It's magic!
Once again it's pleasing to the eye and doesn't make me squirm while looking at it.
The sentiment, "Make Magic Happen"
The moon face is cut out from a Graphic 45 paper pack-Happy Haunting.
The spiderweb key is from Martha Stewart.
I added a couple of bat brads, some diamond shaped rhinestones, and some fun sheer and net ribbons.
The wings were first covered in stickles, and when dry I added a coat of glossy accents.
I also added glossy accents to the sentiment piece, and sprinkled some dry glitter more magic on it.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you have a magical project be sure to link up with us at TCCB and you could win some new digis!
Until next time...
 Be unique! Hugs!

Halloween-Trixxie Treat-DT card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hello my darlings!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends who are celebrating this weekend.
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our theme this fortnight is Halloween
Our sponsor is the fabulous Kenny K!

I love getting to create with the Kenny K digis and for this challenge I got to play with Trixxie Treat!

Trixxie looks spooktacular with her tiny feather capped top hat and her pumpkin purse full of Halloween treats!
The man in the moon is smiling down with giddy approval!

I cut the moon from a sheet of Graphic 45 Sreampunk Spells.
I love playing with these ornamental die cuts! Especially the spiderweb gate die cut that I got from my fabulous friend, Glo!
Last year Glo, and I did a  Halloween swap and sent each other a box full of scrapbooking/cardmaking schtuff!
We both enjoyed the exchange so much we decided to do it again this year.
(Glo you should be getting a package from me in the mail this week)

The sentiment I used is from Kraftin Kimmie stamp(Batty and Catty) and reads,
 "witchy,witchy
screamy, screamy
happy, happy
Halloweeneie!"

Too fun right?!
The paper is from Bo Bunny-Enchanted. It's discontinued but thankfully I have a pile of it!
I added some black and purple bling, a rosette net ribbon, cheesecloth, a couple of feathers and a little pumpkin button.
It's difficult to see but there is also a jeweled spider brad attached to the spider gate.
If you have a Halloween creation be sure to link up with us at TCCB!

B Unique! Hugs!

Aurora Wings Goth Mermaid-DT Card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

You've come upon a mermaid's lair
Strings of pearls have led you here
Enter if you dare...
If you've no fear...
come inside and hear her song
Yes
Keep Calm and Mermaid On
-Debora

Details details details

I love black Gesso! I used it at least 6x to cover up each attempt I made at hand lettering,"Keep Calm And Mermaid On"

Wish you could feel the texture

I'm excited to share the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
This is a color challenge and the colors we're playing with are,
Orange, Purple, Green and Black.
Our sponsor this fortnight is the awesome Stamps By Aurora Wings as well as Simply Betty Stamps.
I've chosen to work with Goth Mermaid with skull, an image from

I'm always head over heels excited whenever I get to use one of Mitzi's digis! I love making those card as elaborate as I can.
On a scale of 1-10 I think this creation may be at a 10+ when it comes to the overload of embellishments.
But that's only because I had an overload of ideas as to how I wanted this card to look and feel...
Really, I should have colored up the image 4 or 5 times and made the individual cards I was envisioning.
I didn't have time for that so I jammed as many thoughts, ideas, and details into this card as I could without taking away from(hopefully) the focal point which is the digital image!
The items I pulled from my craft stash to possibly use in creating this card
I designed this card for a friend's daughter in mind.
She's a mermaid at heart.
It was a challenge for me to use my favorite Halloween colors but not have the card scream, "Halloween Colors used here!"
I had more embellishments added but decided to take off an extra string of pearls and removed a couple of seashells.
I love that it's a feast for the eyes! The more you look the more you see!
There is so much texture going on here and the card is just begging to be touched.
There's a layer of clear micro glass beads on the mermaid tail and the dimension it gives almost makes it seem alive.
I had colored the tail scale by scale using 4 different colors per scale. That beautiful quilt looking pattern got a little lost when I added the glaze and beads.
Just when I thought it was all done I realized I had taped the image panel down slightly crooked.
I'm sure no one would have noticed but I noticed so I decided my best option was to draw the eye away from that little mishap by adding all the feathers rather than trying to peel off the panel that was stuck down with Sookwang tape!
Of course I didn't think that was enough so then I also added the punched out paper coral to place behind the clam shell and added the "crystal coral" as well as a few more rhinestones.
Did you notice the very kewl skull charm I embedded into the seashell?
It has the word,"Queen" etched into the crown.
Once I began adding more things I had a hard time stopping!
I thought surely no more could be added I was wrong! Before I knew it  I had added that fun clay skully gifted to my by friend * Glo!
Talk about detail! This card has it!
It's like a Where's Waldo in the Mermaid's lair...can you find the brass KEY amongst these other things:
-Paper by Bo Bunny-Fright Delight Collection
-Vintage Kodak glitter sticky paper
-Jolee's dimensional bubble stickers
-Fish net
-String of pearls
-Glitter card stock and die cut
-Awesome green seaweed looking ribbon*
-Purple, green, orange feathers,
-metal corner embellie
-Recollections bling in black and orange
-Crystals in a glass bottle with rhinestone detail
-Clear dew drops
-Amber rhinestone heart from my broken jewelery stash
-MS punched coral
-Clay skull
-Maya Road chipboard
-Suzy Weinberg's Beadazzles-Jazz
-Gold and clear micro beads
-Two sea shells
-Stickles- orange peel and diamond
-Viva Pearl Pen
-Crowned skull charm etched with,"Queen"
-Vintage rhinestones and vintage orange ribbon
The background was painted with Sennelier Water Color
Well I think that's it!
Thanks for stopping in today!
If you're creating with Halloween colors be sure to play along with me and the other DT girls, and link up your creations at TCCB for a chance to win a  fabulous gift certificate from our sponsors.

Autumn Attitude-DT Card For The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hello my darlings!
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our theme this fortnight is Autumn/Fall.
Just a little note...we had our first snow fall on the 8th.
Feeling very "Fallish" already in my part of Canada and I miss Summer already!
Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter.
I love these detailed gorgeous digis and the best part of purchasing from The Paper Shelter is the "digi packages", which always include, in addition to the black lines for coloring, a pre colored version.
The colored digis are not sold separately. All are available and included in the product. So you will receive more, but without extra charge!
Often there is also bonus digi papers which also come along with your digi.
For this card I decided to take advantage of the colored bonus digi version of Autumn Attitude and printed multiple images so I could do some paper tole.
I had originally colored up the black outline image but when I went to color the background I messed up the background with my water paints and there was no way to salvage it as some of the outlines had bled and looked blurry.
No problem...bonus pre colored image to the rescue!
That's a seriously awesome bonus and a true time saver!
The paper is from a Bo Bunny Paper pack, Autumn Song Collection
I used a yoyo die cut, and the Happy Birthday sentiment, is from a Kraftin Kimmie Trinkets.
Other embellishments I used were, punched out maple leaves adorned with glass beads and glitter.
Miniature assorted paper flowers, wicker heart, pins, Feathers, Burlap, Dew drops, Recollection Bling, Prima silk leaves, and a little bit of Nature.
I have no idea what those little acorn caps are called but they came from some trees in Florida. I found them when we went to Disney World in Florida 5 years ago.
They had fallen along my path I was walking from the parking lot into the park.
I stopped for a few minutes and collected a pocketful to use "one day" in my crafts.
Be sure to join us for this challenge and you could win a $20 gift certificate from The Paper Shelter.
Psst!...The PS also have a DT call going on right now on the blog and they could be looking for you!

I'll leave you with another pic of my pup Isabella. She just had her first grooming appointment a couple of days ago and she no longer smells like
 camp fire.
Have you heard of Itty Bitty's yet?
I bought Izzy her first one.

Bad Hare Day-DT Card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Only two ways to add the grommet ribbon and I staple it on upside down! Of course!

Paper:Afternoon Muse by Glitz
Barbwire stamp from a CTMH set

Embellishments by Prima Junkyard Findings and TH. The spark plug reads, "Be Happy"
Hello my darlings! Thanks for stopping in today!
I'm trying to be quick like a bunny with today's post because I'm getting ready for another weekend of glamping.
When we were at the lake last weekend we sure enjoyed the nights around the fire. You could really feel that things have started to cool off but we should still get a few more enjoyable weekends.
This is the last long weekend of the Summer, and the kids/grandkids are planning to join us for a sleep-over in the glamper.
I'm planning for a ton of fun!

Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our sponsor this fortnight is Meljen Designs.
The image I've chosen to work with is Bad Hare Day!
How fun right!
Our new theme for this challenge is One For The Boys.
Create a masculine project, something for a guy of any age.
Then be sure to link up with us at TCCB for the chance to win 4 digis of your choice.

My bestie took me out for dinner last night and gave me a belated birthday present.
Part of my the gift was this set of Sennelier Water Colors!!
I had been looking for these for months! My bestie found them for me!
I was soooo excited to get this fabulous set of paints and I of course had to try them out right away so I used them to paint the background of my Bad Hare image.
Love, Love, Love, these paints for doing backgrounds so you'll probably be seeing a lot more of that kind of background coloring/painting from me.
I can't wait to try them out on actual water color paper.
That's it for me, I'm out of here.
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend!

Dilly Beans-Elly Framed-DT Card for The Corrosive Challenge Blog

Hello!
Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge up at The Corrosive Challenge Blog.
Our sponsor this fortnight is Dilly Beans Stamps.

 Dilly Beans Digi Stamps

I've chosen to work with this wonderful image from Dilly Beans called,

Our challenge theme is B-Unique.
Use three items starting with the letter B(bling, brads, bows, blooms, blossoms, buttons, etc). Get creative.
I would have loved to have been more creative with this card but I didn't realize until I had finished it that the challenge was for 3 B's not 1. Thankfully I had added Bling! I managed to squeak by with Blue(her lovely blue hair) and Big of course. I love her Big Blue eyes.
That's what I love about ART...everyone will have a different interpretation of what it means.
Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Those are my 3 B's, Bling, Blue, Big!
The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle-Fern & Forest
The sentiment on the  pre stamped paper reads,
Laughter is timeless,
Imagination has no age,
Dreams are forever.
I added diamond glaze over her eyes, and over the words, Laughter-Imagination-Dreams.
This is probably the least embellished card I've made but with those beautiful big eyes it didn't need anything else.
Be sure to link up with us at TCCB and you'll have the chance to win some fabulous digis!

B-Unique! Hugs!
Hmmm, I just may have found my tag line(that above)
