Hello again bloggers! Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at Tammy's Scrappin' Corner.
This week's theme is Monochromatic.
This week's theme is Monochromatic.
One of our our sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies. I have chosen to use this fabulous digi, Pearls In My Hair.
I've used all 7 Copic E30's to create this monochromatic look.
The paper is from a Tim Holtz collage stash. The pendant is from a Bo Bunny embellishment pack.
I just picked up one of the new Stickles, Mercury Glass(love it) to add some sparkle, and the ribbon was from my ribbon stash. The swirly pearls/crystals are from Prima Say It In Crystals.
If you'd like a chance to win 3 ADFD images be sure to play along and link up your monochromatic project here, where you will also find more monochromatic inspiration from the DT.
You can also check out A Day For Daisies blog here. There's a new Fall freebie you can download.
Whenever I design a card I grab a little basket and "shop" my stash.
I look through all my drawers and baskets of scrapbook paraphernalia and grab everything I think I might be able to use to decorate the card I'm making.
Most times just a few things are selected out of everything I've pulled to adorn my card.
After each card is done I put all the unused items back where I got them from. Well ideally that's what I like to do but of course sometimes I have to rifle through a few baskets of stuff that never got put away to find what I'm looking for.
I don't create in my scraproom so I have to haul things back and forth from there to the dining room table.

If you read my post from the other day then you know that I was disappointed that the wet cool weather was going to ruin plans to go on the Toy Run.
I thought we would be driving the car to bring our toys to the park to be collected by Santa's Anonymous instead of riding the bike.
Thankfully it had pretty much stopped raining by time we were to leave and a little bit of weather isn't going to keep a good biker down! lol.

I'm not sure of the numbers yet but I'm thinking there were about 2-3 thousand bikers that showed up for the run this year.
And because it was so cool out there(45°F or 7°C) was a lot of leather!
Here's a pic of me(on the left) and hubby, along with our good friends Marni and Wayne.
Till next time! Hugs!
