Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner.

This week's challenge is everyone's favorite, Anything goes.

I'm using an image from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps called JJ Cheers.

I'm a big fan of the Bugaboo images. The whit and humor just cracks me up.

Also, this image is the third in a series of many" women/females in glasses images" I'm planning on coloring up. You can see the first one here and the second one here.

The papers are from Echo Park Season's Greetings.

The sentiment is from SU.

For some reason I wasn't able to edit any more pictures in Picasa tonight so I'll try to edit and add more tomorrow.

Ventura Val- Corrosive Challenge #181 Steampunk

 

 

Hello! Today I'm sharing the card I made the new challenge at the Corrosive Challenge blog.

This week's theme is one of my favorites! Steampunk!

Our sponsor for this challenge is also one of my favorite digi companies...Kenny K!

Kenny K's steampunk  Burlesque images are so amazing, and just like the Krash Kittenz, I need to color them all!

I've chosen to use this fabulous image called Val Ventura. I was a little intimidated when I first started coloring this image. After what seemed like an incredible amount of time I finally had my color combinations picked out but I was still a little puzzled as to what to all color teal, or purple, or gold, etc. All the detail,wow!  Then the real challenge began...trying to make the sheer skirt appear like it was in front of the image and not behind. I've been wanting to try that sheer coloring for some time so I was happy to finally have attempted that.

Those fabulous papers are from the new Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells paper pack.

I actually used 6 different pattern papers from that pack to create this card. The flowers are double an triple layered.

I love how it looks like there's so much depth to it.

Hello, today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge this week at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner.

Our theme this week is Music so link up your cards with a musical theme,

I've used a digi from our sponsor QKR  Stampede called Caroling.

I've been wanting to color an image with light shining from an overhead lamp so this is my first attempt at that. I think I should have used a much lighter yellow but I still like how it turned out.

I dabbed TH Distress Pain in Picket Fence to cover the chipboard pieces and then sprinkled Frantag shabby pink all over, The die cut snowflake border is from Memory Box, and the papers are from Peon Design. I love those muted tones of color with that paper.

I feel so ahead of the game because I've made my first Christmas card. I had to check and it looks like there's only 142 days left till Christmas. And only 40 more Christmas cards to  make buy...LOL

 The card I made for this week's challenge is also part of a blog hop and features this beautiful digi called Jessica Rabbit. I'm a huge Jessica Rabbit fan, and I absolutely loved coloring this image. Trying to make her dress sparkle without actual sparkles was a fun challenge.
