We are being sponsored
by A & T Designs, home of the emerald fairies.
Our theme this fortnight is,
"forever young". Just create a project for a baby, child, or even the young
at heart and you can join in with the challenge and win yourself some fabulous digis.
I've chosen to work with this whimsical digi called Kayla and Twinkie.
I love all of the Emerald fairies and can't wait to color up the next one!!
They're so much fun!
You can find The Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog here.
Whenever I color, seems like choosing which colors to use always takes me the longest to figure out. I think, maybe I need to make a swatch book or something?
How do you decide which colors to use?
I used quite a few colors in this image but cleaned up all the markers before giving myself the chance to write them down.(Dinner needed to be set on the table where I was coloring, and everyone was hungry...we had chicken caeser salad with garlic bread)
Over the next month I'm going to go back over the last year of blog posts I've done so I can edit, and add which colors I've used on my images.
I've written most of them down in a book but never bothered to add them to my blog. Since I love discovering what color combos others have used, I'm assuming you might enjoy discovering which colors I've used too.
The paper I used is from Pion Designs.
The sentiment,"Welcome Little One" is a rubber stamp from an old SU set. the "postage" stamp was from a Stampendous set I belive...
I added some Prima rhinestones, glittered chipboard and paper flowers and just a touch of lace.
I'm keeping today's blog post short and sweet as we are trying to capture as many moments of sunshine out at the lake as we can this Summer and hubby is rushing me to get going!
Hope you're all enjoying your Summer!
Hugs!

This is very beautiful.
I am just learning to colour with copics as is my 7 year old grand daughter.
I love to note what colour combo was used on card I love.
Yours is definitely one I would love to know the combo's for!
