Rockabilly Boom-DT card for The Corrosive Challenge

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing the card I made for the new challenge at
The theme for challenge #195 is Go Green.
This challenge has three options. Select as many as you'd like: 1) use the color green 2) create a St. Patrick's Day project 3) use something recycled on your creation
Our sponsor for this challenge is The Stamping Chef.
I love this image! Rockabilly Boom! I couldn't wait to work with this digi!

I love pin up girl images so I was uber inspired to make this card.
I used my creative license and drew a circ 1945 shark face onto the bomb and added the words, "Howdy Boys"

After I colored this fun image I gathered a basketful of scrapbook/card making paraphernalia from my "stash" room of everything I thought I could use. When I grabbed the bag of metal buttons to decide if that was something I wanted to add to my card, I couldn't believe one of those metal buttons had a decal of a pin up girl riding a bomb!! I love when that happens! Yeah I had to use that!
The sentiment, "You are Awesome my friend" is a Kraftin Kimmie Trinket.
The paper is from Best Creations Ink-Space Age glitter pack
You can check out more Green inspiration from the rest of the DT on TCCB. Link
up with us and you could win 3 digis from TSS

Now that I've shared my card I also wanted to share a pic of  my new grandson Daniel!
Someone pinch me! I'm the grandmother of 7 grandchildren!!
Every day is such a blessing!
Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!

This card is dynamite! I love everything about it! And it's too cool that you had a button with a pin-up girl riding a bomb! How perfect! Your coloring is amazing too- love her pink hair and leopard print outfit!

So precious!!
Love your card, too! Isn't it nice when fate plays a hand when choosing embellies?
Hope you are doing well. I need to drop you a line. Expect an email from me, sooner or later. :)
Hugs,
